Trick Shot | Make A Combo With A Pint Glass!
What do you do when you are playing nine ball and this shot comes up? You replace the cue ball with a pint glass, of course! Shoot the glass past the balls and it curves around, making the 1-9 combo.

*Do not use the cue ball WITH the pint glass.
Setup the Trick Shot
You need a pint glass centered on the 1st diamond line, approximately right behind the head string. Put a row of 6 balls on the 3rd diamond as diagrammed, and the 1-9 combo is by the side pocket.
How to Make The Combination
The way you shoot this shot is simple. Don't hit directly in the center of the glass and not too hard or the glass may break. This will only happen if you blast it. Hit the shot straight up the table with about 1/8 inch left of center. This will cause the glass to rotate slightly counter-clockwise. The friction will eventually cause it to stop sliding, but the forward momentum will cause it to continue rolling.
'Tricks' of the Shot
Due to the curvature of the glass, it will actually roll and curve around the balls. If you hit it with just the right speed, you will make the combo in the side pocket. This takes a little bit of practice.
As with anything, Trick Shots take practice. Keep practicing the shot to get the feel of exactly how to set it up and make the shot!
