Mike Massey's
World Of Trick Shots

Rob Peuplie ~Mike Massey's book is not only about trick shots, it's also a little history of himself. By reading the short biography in this book you will get a better understanding of Mike and a greater respect for what he does.

This book is very simple to read and extremely easy to understand. Philip Capelle helped Mike in this area since Phil has written many pool and billiard books himself. These fun trick shots that are in the book aren't all the shots that Mike knows or that he can do. The shots are in different categories and a lot aren't difficult but they are excellent if you are just getting interested in learning artistic pool and trick shots. Mike not only shows you the shot and the name but he also goes into great detail on how to complete the shot and shows different strokes as well. Mike Massey's World of Trick Shots is a wonderful book all around because it shows how much detail is needed to execute one particular shot which gives you more appreciation for artistic pool & trick shots.

Kids Learn To Play Pool

Denise ~When you love pool and want to share it with your children, teaching them can be frustrating! Where do you start??

Kids Learn To Play Pool is a solid foundation for children in learning pool. It's simplified for kids to begin playing pool and having fun learning. Dawn explains fundamentals and basic shots to children in a way that's fun and easy for them to understand. I am impressed that she places importance of etiquette while playing, too! This book also includes fun trick shots and some practice ideas to develop their basic fundamental skills and maintain the interest in learning more.

Stroke

Stroke - A Novel by Carlos Lesdon Miller

Rob Peuplie ~This book is about personal accomplishment and will surely give you more confidence. It takes the reader through different worlds of 8 ball & 9 ball such as bar room, hustling, amateur and professional playing levels. Characters are fun to read about with a series of drama through the ups and downs. The author puts you in the main characters’ place; an ideal place someone would want to walk if they were an amateur pool player.

I would highly recommend for any level of reading or playing ability as this book is an easy read. I also recommend this book to those who know pool players as it will help them understand the game and why they love it so much.
